James Griffey: Bass Guitar

jameshead2.jpg

a.k.a. the vanilla sheik....

began his life in the swamplands of western Michigan, began bowhunting and killing his own food at the tender age of 8, toured the country in a loincloth throughout the 70's and... no wait that's Ted Nugent...
...well anyway, James writes some great tunes, and adds a rock solid bottom end to Barely White. If you see him, make sure not to talk about fish. Trust me

Chris Pennell: guitar

chris pennell, has toured the country many times over (at least in his mind) and has owned some of the ugliest vans ever seen in the Southeast United States(this is true.)

In all honesty, Chris is one of the most tasteful guitar players in the area, and is an integral part of the sound that is Barely White. Just don't mention cassette tapes to him...again , trust me.

Schel Sullivan: keyboards

schelhead.gif

not much to say here- you may already know Schel by his given name- Ray Manzarek. After a life on the road with Morrison, who can blame Schel for the name change and the constant denial that he is, in fact one of the seminal keyboard players of the late 60's/early 70's.

(Wink Wink WInk)

Actually Schel adds that something extra to the songs of Barely White. Good songwriter/ Great Player-Be it the vintage sounds of a B3 through a leslie cabinet, the classic sound of a Fender Rhodes or just the out and out groove of a piano- Schel's got it.
